About the Author

My love for the Maddox brothers continues!

Just when I think Jamie can’t shock me anymore I am proven wrong yet again! I loved Travis and Abby they were my first Jamie characters that stole my heart and I also loved Cami and Trent but Liis and Thomas might have taken the lead for me. I literally could not put this book down and I was fighting my sleep because I was so sucked into it. We get a little back story in Trent and Cami’s story of Thomas. But I was not expecting to completely question my feelings about characters I thought I loved. It’s so hard to put this book into words other than it’s absolutely amazing. Liis is new in town and struggling with a break up that she enforced because of her commitment issues. Thomas is still getting over the fact his heart was ripped out by Cami. I knew from the first time they met each other that Liis was perfect for Thomas. There were times I wanted to slap Liis and punch Thomas in the face. I honestly think is book was the most emotional out of all of Jamie’s books. At times I could feel my heart literally breaking for both characters. I also questioned my love for Cami a few times in this book. I know it was hard for me to be mad at her but when I was looking at the situation through Liis’s eyes it really made me think quite a bit about the whole situation. I don’t like reviews with spoilers but be prepared for a story that will literally have you sitting on the edge of your seat. I also love how we get the whole Maddox family and how their lives are going. I love Jamie’s books and I can’t wait for more from the Maddox brothers.

Loved it!
By Your Love is King!
Thomas is a great brother! He gave up his first love Cami to Trent and walked away broken hearted. In Trent book, Thomas's feeling s were unknown so I thought TJ didn't care much about Cami. But he did loved her, he suffered alot. :-( Then Travis needed saving, he did what he could do to save him. Thomas had to pull a lot of string s to save his brother from going to jail, but that meant his secret will be out and he suffered again. God he went through a lot. He basically had raised them at young age, kind of like a parent. Liis came at a good time actually and I think she kind of saved him and herself. They were very similar. They loved their job a lot. Their arguments wow. It was a good distraction for Thomas and it was hard for Liis to accept relationships and love.

Falling for the oldest Maddox!

When Jamie McGuire releases a new novel, my world stops. I’ve been a fan before people knew who she was. I am one of the “those girls” that no one can match Travis Maddox in my mind except his older brother Thomas. (Yes, I really just admitted that in writing!)
I loved Beautiful Oblivion, but I have to say Beautiful Redemption is running right up there with Beautiful Disaster. Between the realness of the characters, their storyline, and how everything fit perfectly with each other Beautiful story, I was amazed and fell hard for another Maddox brother. One that has pride for his career and family, has oldest child syndrome, and has had his heartbroken by a girl his brother has loved his entire life.
The feelings he has toward his brothers and how he should protect them reminded me of my relationship with my sister. He is true to his word, and he’s also an ass to most people he meets. That is until Liis joins forces with him, but there’s one little problem. A one night stand they thought would never cross paths and feelings that neither have felt for a long time continue to rise.
When I think about Thomas and the life he’s leads, it is much different than his brothers. He always puts them first, he’s not a manwhore, and he keeps his life a secret. He also can’t help who he loved, but Liis drove me a little batty because she just couldn’t get it. Watching their relationship grow, change, start back at zero, and an ending that tore me out the frame, I have to say, I haven’t felt this much from a story in a while. Everything about their story was real. Thomas and Liis’ relationship is like an everyday romance with an added twist of secret agents.
Jamie Mcguire has done it yet again. This time she took the one Maddox brother that I believe I relate to the most and put him into book form. Beautiful Redemption is a story of bringing someone back to life because their two imperfections make them perfectly fit together. If you loved Beautiful Disaster, and are curious after reading Beautiful Wedding this is the book for you! I can’t wait to see what Jamie has in store for us next!
