BMW '02 Restoration Guide

Generally well-written and helpful. However, I found the chapter on body restoration to be somewhat lacking in illustrations/diagrams/photos. I'm an experienced welder/body repairman, but, have no BMW '02 experience. I had hoped to get a better idea of what I'd be getting into, time-wise, to help in planning a restoration. Having some illustrations/drawings/diagrams showing how the rusty panels came together, when new, would have been helpful.

An excellent and detailed book that provides some very valuable insight into the BMW 2002 range. I'm a BMW 1600-2 owner and found the commentary of the book addressed all models in the range. Well worth the purchase for anyone who has just bought (or is just about to buy) an '02 model and needs some advice on how to keep it (or return it to) as new.

Adam J. Davis earned both his B.S. in Animal Science and his Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University. Following his work as a Postdoctoral Associate in molecular reproductive endocrinology he began teaching at the University of Georgia, where he is currently an Associate Professor. Dr. Davis has combined his interest in birds and training in nutrition and reproduction to develop award winning educational and research programs in poultry and avian biology. He continues to breed parrots and finches in his spare time.

Mia N. Malloy earned both her B.S. in Biological Science and her Ph.D. in Poultry Science at the University of Georgia. While working on her Ph.D., she helped develop, coordinate, and teach Field Studies in Avian Biology for a summer study abroad program in Costa Rica. Her numerous field skills include mist-netting, nest searching, and field identification. As a Post-doctoral Associate in Adam Davis’ laboratory, she is active in both research and teaching. Dr. Malloy teaches an introductory bird course at the University of Georgia and assists with nutritional and reproductive studies.

The Best Recent Commentary on Revelation

At last, a worthy update and offspring of Smith's Daniel and the Revelation!. This book is the strongest Seventh-day Adventist commentary on Revelation released recently and an antidote to the pablum that presently passes for Adventist commentary on our erstwhile strength (and source of the movement's theology); historicist interpretation of Biblical prophecy.

Cooke not only strengthens the traditional position but includes his own ideas in an intelligent and engaging way. You may not agree with all his interpretations (I don't) but his persistent cheerful tone cannot be faulted.

There are too many high points to enumerate but the uplifting effect of reading almost any chapter is palpable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who enjoys Adventist theology. If you are going to buy any commentary on Revelation, this should be it.

I take one star off the review because the publishers have done a very poor job of the conversion to Kindle formatting. As well as being overpriced they committed the cardinal sin of not including an interactive index. The problem is then compounded by not having clickable links in the text to the many appendices. Together these major problems make it frustratingly difficult to use the book as a reference work.

This book is full of insights into the "mysteries " of the final Revelation of An inclusive God to His people. Many have been deluded by the futurist speculations but why would God send a message about things that are not going to and have not already taken place. If your mind is open to the Historical interpretation of all prophecies READ THIS BOOK!!

Another outstanding work by Professor Anthony James Joes that intersects the worlds of politics and insurgency/counterinsurgency. This book should be required reading for all commissioning US military officers and foreign service officers preparing to embark on their career abroad in service of the US security and foreign policy establishment. What is even more amazing than the narrative that Joes provides--that certainly runs counter to many of the prevailing ideas in the US educational and media establishments--is the prodigious amount of authoritative sources (including copious amounts of French sources and the works of both North and South Vietnamese participants). If you want to truly understand the complex and sad story of the Fall of South Vietnam, this book will certainly not disappoint!

Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born as Sathyanarayana Raju on November 23rd, 1926 in the village of Puttaparthi, in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India. Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is an integral manifestation who combines two very significant roles. AMAZING!

This book is absolutely amazing! Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down! As a child I was never taught the language of those that pocess wealth. This book is an easy read and it teaches that "wealth begins inside of you, it is a state of mind". This is as good, or better, than the outrageoulsy priced textbooks. Tells you, concisely, everything you need to know about the different art periods. Now I can converse with my artist friends who received degrees ..... I didn't. If you're into art at all, it's fun to know this stuff.

Pretty much exactly what I expected - Art History, not pretty pictures

I saw this book started off with ancient art, which I really have no interest in, but was willing to force my way through it anyway. I was pleasantly surprised when the author almost ordered me to not read parts I wasn't interested in, and that most parts of the book were self contained. I think it really lives up to that.

I read the Kindle edition of this book, and I knew it'd be difficult to read the text and look at the artwork at the same time. I was very pleased to find I really didn't need to. The author did a great job of describing the important parts of the works and what was unique about them, so much so that most of the time I didn't bother actually looking at the photos unless they were incorporated into the text. And I think as long as the reader knows and expects the book to be about the history of art, and not just a collection of pretty pictures, they will be very pleased with this book.
