About the Author
R. H. Ettinger is a professor of psychology at Eastern Oregon University where he teaches a popular course on psychopharmacology.� His research interests span a range of topics; including, the neurobiology of feeding, the contributions of Pavlovian conditioning to drug tolerance, the development of an anti cocaine antibody, and investigations of the anxiolytic properties of Valeriana officinalis.�� Ettinger earned his Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Washington State University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuroscience at Duke University.
