Easy Grammar

I love this book - use it all the time when I am teaching English in China. Exercises are adaptable and so easy to use

Good One

This book has got 2 or 3 great activities: "Using Example Sentences" is a brilliant lesson which focuses students' attention on meaning and promotes their "noticing"; "Adapting Written Exercises" is a real gem which teaches you how to get students to design their own gap-fill type exercises. Apart from these there are some old classics revisited: "Sentence Auction" etc. My only gripe is that the examples are almost exclusively aimed at beginner/ lower intermediate level and it would be nice to see one or two techniques treating more advanced structures. It is true I was able to adapt Using Example Sentences to present the various meanings and patterns involving the word "wish" but it would lend credence to the author's assertion in the final chapter that all the techniques can be so incorporated into your teaching.
